I got an email at work today explaining some upcoming IT changes. It started out with this:
“When learning how to ride a bike as a kid, your parents probably attached a broomstick to the bike …”
Forget the rest of the email! I was so focused on the image of the broomstick that I glazed over the rest.
I can honestly say that there was never a broomstick attached to my bicycle. Frankly it sounds like someone could lose an eye or worse.
Did you learn this way?
LOL! No broomstick either. Maybe they had the kid thinking they could fly like in the cartoons. I remember putting tassles in my handlebars and baseball cards in the spokes. Fun times!

I’ve never heard of anyone suing a broomstick on a bicycle. What an idea! -Ellie

What in the world would a broomstick do? Where in the world would you put it? I’ve never heard of such a thing,

Me neither! It’s making me laugh though. The email went out to hundreds of people…I wonder if they’re all blogging about it. 🙂
